Our travels doesn't necessarily fare to the other side of the globe. Although we like standard metropolises such as London and Berlin, we are especially fond of slightly peculiar cities, and quickly fell in love with Hanover and Leipzig in Germany. Stockholm, although less original, is probably also high up on our top weekend destinations. Our love for Málaga is actually quite coincidental. Kjetil was searching for Christine's next birthday trip, and googled the "shortest distance to a sunny destination". Living in Norway, and a birthday in December, the answer was not a given. Málaga did appear in several articles, and our first trip to the Costa del Sol became a reality in January 2015. The sun greeted us with temperatures up to 23 degrees. However, a pregnant Christine, like the locals, wore a jacket in the evenings. Perhaps no surprise, given the fact that Christine has a Spanish temper, although paradoxically it stems from German genes. Ordnung muss sein! Kjetil can also be blamed for blending in to the Spanish culture, on the very other side of the scale. Mañana, mañana - relax, no stress.
